PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor for parakeratosis, a pore reducing agent, a skin roughening preventing agent or ameliorating agent having functions such as inhibition of parakeratosis, pore reducing, skin roughening prevention or ameliorating, free from safety problems such as feeling irritation or the like, and to provide a composition for skin care preparation formulated with a compound having above-mentioned functions. PSOLUTION: The invention relates to the inhibitor for parakeratosis, pore reducing agent or skin roughening preventing or ameliorating agent comprising one or two or more kind of compounds selected from a group comprising derivatives of -amino acids and salts thereof. The invention also relates to the composition for skin care preparation comprising one or two or more kind of derivatives of the -amino acids and salts thereof which are the inhibitor for parakeratosis, pore reducing agent or skin roughening preventing or ameliorating agent.
