PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the upgrade of an OS or PP in an information processor realizing redundant configuration without disconnecting the communication of a user. PSOLUTION: This redundant configuration device is provided with: a means for acquiring the version information of the OS and PP of a redundant configuration device and detecting a difference between the version information and the version information of the OS and PP of the other redundant configuration device; a means for detecting the start of the process of the redundant configuration protocol and the start of the synchronizing program of the connection information; a means for controlling the process of the redundant configuration protocol; and a means for controlling the synchronizing program of connection information. When there is no difference, and the process is started, the process is started, and when the synchronizing program is not started, the synchronizing program is started, and when there is any difference, and the version information of the redundant configuration device is older than the version information of the redundant configuration device, the process is stopped, and the program is stopped.
