PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing costs for a waterproof air-permeable garment and improving product quality such as air permeability of a waterproof air-impermeable garment. PSOLUTION: The method comprises the following process: distinguishing at least two kinds of waterproof fabrics different in moisture permeability in grades of the moisture permeability based on the level of the moisture permeability; grouping respective portions of the garment based on needs of heat release and air permeability in the same grades as those of the waterproof fabric; and making the respective portions of the garment correspond to a waterproof fabric having the same grades as those of the portions based on the grades of the heat release and the air permeability of the respective portions of the garment.
