PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newsprint paper excellent in quick-drying, adhesiveness and opacity while the paper has a high whiteness.;SOLUTION: The newsprint paper comprises 20-60% by mass of at least one of a machine pulp manifesting color of machine pulp based on JIS P 8120 or a deinked waste paper pulp, and 40-80% by mass of bleached pulp, and the paper has 60-65 g/m² of basis weight, 0.66-0.90 g/m³ of density and either one or both of surface layers in dividing the paper into substantially equal four layers are loaded with lipophilic fine particles and has 17-25% of ash content (measured according to JIS P 8251) and 0.01-0.15 g/m² (solid content) of sizing agent is coated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
