PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for treating a glass fiber for rubber reinforcement to improve the heat-resistance, the flexural fatigue resistance and the water resistance of a rubber product and provide a rubber-reinforcing cord and a rubber product produced by using the agent.;SOLUTION: The agent for the treatment of a glass fiber for rubber reinforcement contains a water-soluble condensation product of resorcin and formaldehyde and a soap-free acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer latex. The term 'soap- free' means a latex polymerized by using a polymerization initiator such as potassium persulfate, a styrene sulfonic acid salt, an acrylic or allyl reactive emulsifier or a water-soluble polymer, a hydrophilic comonomer such as water- soluble oligomer and acrylic acid in place of conventional emulsifiers or surfactants.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
