PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head unit, an ink jet printer having the same and a method of assembling the ink jet head unit wherein multiple ink jet heads can be readily and accurately mounted on the printer.;SOLUTION: In the ink jet head unit 21 for color printing, an ink nozzle array group 46 consisting of a plurality of color ink nozzle arrays which are used for printing one line and correspond to basic colors are formed by multiple ink jet heads 22.
