PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat resistance and durability of a thermoplastic resin in a composition to obtain an anisotropic light-scattering film which has anisotropy in scattering characteristics (forward or backward scattering and dependence on incident angles) and has controllable scattering characteristics relating to vertical and horizontal scattering ranges and which shows no change in display light independently of an observation position.;SOLUTION: When a resin composition for an anisotropic light-scattering film having a composition containing a thermoplastic resin having a hydroxyl group and a crosslinking agent is used as the resin composition for an anisotropic light-scattering film to form an anisotropic light-scattering film, a hydroxy group of the thermoplastic resin having a hydroxyl group and a functional group of the crosslinking agent induce a dehydration reaction to produce an ether linkage or a urethane linkage. The resin composition for an anisotropic light-scattering film contains at least (A) a thermoplastic resin having a hydroxyl group, (B) a compound having a radical polymerizable group, (C) a photopolymerization initiator which generates a radical species by chemical radiation, and (G) a crosslinking agent, wherein the refractive index of the thermoplastic resin (A) having a hydroxyl group is different from the refractive index of the compound (B) having a radical polymerizable group.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
