PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless access network system for controlling hand-off and a hand-off control method.;SOLUTION: The wireless access network system includes: a mobile station 1; a plurality of base stations 2; a VLAN switch 3 having a VLAN table; and a gateway 4. The mobile station 1 transmits a hand-off request including its own VLAN identifier to a base station. When the hand-off request to be a move destination of hand-off is received, the base station transmits, to the VLAN switch, a port registration request containing the VLAN identifier. The VLAN switch transfers the received port registration request to the gateway and registers the VLAN identifier contained in the port registration request in the VLAN table after making a port number receiving this port registration request correspondent thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
