PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart an address or the like to a client terminal apparatus from a remote point.;SOLUTION: A network system contains a first local network and a second local network which are connected with an external network, the client terminal apparatus belongs to the inside of the second local network, and an address assigning server belongs to the inside of the first local network. In the network system, (1) the client terminal apparatus holds a temporary address and data relative to the address, (2) the client terminal performs communication to the address assigning server by using the address and the data, and (3) the address assigning server determines a formal address to the client terminal apparatus and data relative to the formal address and performs responding.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
