PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain port anti-icing device of a fuel cell system for an automobile capable of preventing freeze by structure as simple as possible, and also, without awaiting anti-icing whil constanlly turning on electric power. PSOLUTION: The drain port anti-icing device of a fuel cell system for an automobile outputs power by making air and hydrogen react with each other supplied to a fuel cell 1 and also generates water, and is equipped with a water pipe 7 draining generated water outside a vehicle, a surge tank 8 connected to an outlet of the water pipe 7, a hydrogen introducing pipe 11 introducing hydrogen to the surge tank 8 through a hydrogen control valve 10 from an anode line 9, an ECU 15 determining a possibility of freeze at a drain port outlet 12, and an ignition device 13 operated based on a determined result at the ECU 15 and generating an impulse wave toward the drain port outlet 12 by burning a hydrogen and air mixture in the surge tank 8.
