PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld alloy and a method for repairing a hard build-up welding part by which cracks are prevented.;SOLUTION: In this alloy for repair-welding dot-shaped, linear, groove-shaped or hollow-shaped defects which are locally caused in the hard build-up welding part made of a Co-base alloy, the alloy is composed of, by mass, ≤ 0.2% C, 15-25% Cr, 12-18% W, 7-20% Ni and the balance essentially Co. After mechanically removing the defect 20 generated in the hard build-up welding part 15 and performing build-up welding to the defect removing part by the alloy for repair-welding, a working surface is formed by finishing the surface of the repaired build-up welding part into a smooth surface with a machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
