PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous emulsion that has a high ethylene content under the same ethylene partial pressure, excellent polymerization stability, mechanical stability, storage stability, freezing stability, stability and flexibility in drying, high coating film strength and excellent affinity for a face of adhesion difficulty of a polyolefin, etc.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing an aqueous emulsion composed of an ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer mainly having ≥30% ethylene content as a main component, two or more kinds of polyvinyl alcohols having ≥70 mol% saponification ratio and ≥400 and 1,400 polymerization degree and 1,400-3,500 polymerization degree and two or more kinds of nonionic surfactants having ≥12 and 15 HLB and 15-19 HLB are used, a vinyl ester monomer is continuously or intermittently added to a reaction under 4-6 MPa ethylene partial pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
