PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment application state monitoring device capable of informing a plant operation or maintenance personnel of the degree of influence of a disturbance factor corresponding to a characteristic change in process status quantity, in an output format to be visually easily understood. ;SOLUTION: Plant status quantity time-sequentially read out from an input part 12 is stored in a sample data storage part 13 as history data and a main component analysis part 14 analyzes main components on the basis of the history data and calculates an inherent vector, an inherent value and a contribution rate in each main component. A display data calculation part 15 rotates display data for history data on multi-dimensional orthogonal coordinate axes and coordinate axes corresponding to the items of the history data so that a visual point for overlooking the multi-dimensional orthogonal coordinate axes becomes an angle from an inherent vector direction and displays the rotated display data on a display device 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
