PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is possible to be damaged by a person regarded suspicious in confirming business to the suspicious person by a resident when the resident finds out the suspicious perform on a passage of an apartment house or the like.;SOLUTION: The suspicious person monitoring device is provided with: a means for receiving suspicious person monitoring request information from a user; a first storage means for storing monitoring timer information corresponding to a suspicious person management request; a means for extracting the monitoring timer information corresponding to the suspicious person monitoring request from the first storage means and setting a monitoring timer based on the monitoring timer information; a second storage means for storing information on houses under absence of residents corresponding to the suspicious person monitoring request information; and a means for producing suspicious person presence information based upon the suspicious person monitoring request information and the information on the houses under the absence of the residents corresponding to the suspicious person monitoring request information extracted from the second storage means, and transmitting the suspicious person presence information to the user in the case of detecting the timeout of the monitoring timer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
