PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial tensile test piece for films, a biaxial tensile testing machine for the films, and a biaxial tensile test method for the films capable of preventing the occurrence of slips between a gripping jig and the biaxial test piece for the films, maintaining the stationary state of a center part to be measured of the test piece, and providing a large distortion for the center part to be measured.;SOLUTION: The biaxial tensile testing machine for the films comprises the square center part to be measured, the biaxial tensile test piece for the films comprised of end parts having both protruded surfaces, and the divided gripping jig of a structure for gripping each side and corner of the end parts of the test piece and maintains the stationary state of the center part to be measured of the test piece. In the biaxial tensile test method for the films, the biaxial tensile testing machine for the films is used to observe changes in the structure of the films while drawing the films.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
