PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird injury arrester and bird injury prevention structure each applicable to each of plural aerial cables having different wire diameter of self-supporting aerial cable.;SOLUTION: The bird injury arrester 1 has a holder 10 holding a wire W, a fastener 50 for fastening, with the holder 10, a thin line-installing part 40 for installing a thin line S above an aerial cable K, wherein one holding element 21 is rotatable against the other holding element 11, the holding element 11 has a first pressing surface, and the holding element 21 has a second pressing surface and a third pressing surface each facing to the first pressing surface and holding wires having different diameters. The fastener 51 comprises a bolt 51 and nut 55, wherein the stopper part of the bolt 51 is attached to the stopper surface of a second open hole so that the rotation of the bolt 51 is restricted. The bird injury prevention structure is obtained by attaching an intermediate support between two bird injury arresters set at the top of the aerial cable spirally extending on the wire circumference of the wire.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
