PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide groundwater sampling equipment which can be inexpensively manufactured because its constitution is simple and compact and which enables the groundwater to be easily and efficiently sampled in a pressurized inactive state, and a groundwater sampling method.;SOLUTION: The groundwater sampling equipment comprises: a vacuum source 31; a water sampling vessel 3 which has an on-off valve 13, which is vacuumized by the vacuum source 31, and which is inserted into a water sampling section in a borehole BH in the closed state of the on-off valve 13; an actuator control part 19 on the ground; and an actuator 4 which samples the groundwater into the vacuumized vessel 3 by opening the on-off valve 13 by the control of the actuator control part 19, and which seals the vessel 3 by closing the on-off valve 13. The groundwater sampling method comprises: a vacuumization step of vacuumizing the vessel 3; an insertion step of inserting the vessel 3 into the water sampling section in the borehole BH; a water sampling step of sampling the groundwater into the vacuumized vessel 3 by opening the vessel 3; a sealing step of sealing the vessel 3; and a pull-up step of pulling up the vessel 3 to the ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
