PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor and a program for soil property data with which precise data of the distribution of soil properties in a field can be effectively obtained, and they are collectively managed so that the data obtained in a field or in a plurality of fields can be easily compared with each other, and to provide a storage medium for memorizing the program.;SOLUTION: A soil property observation apparatus comprises a stand linked to the rear part of a tractor, a computer 150 placed on the stand and a soil cutting device attached on the lower part of the rear end of the stand. It is pulled by a vehicle such as a tractor and performs real time observation on the distribution of the soil properties in the field. The computer 150 calculates standardized soil hardnesses, which are generalized data as an indicator for soil properties at observation points, and it produces a map showing the distribution of the standardized soil hardnesses in the field.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
