PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shrimp with head and shell for microwave oven cooking, uniformly heating the head and body of the shrimp by a simple heat cooking in a microwave oven to obtain soft and juicy cooked shrimp with elastic palate feeling which is a substantial palate feeling of the shrimp and the content in the head is edible and the shell is easy to peel from the body, and to provide a method for cooking the shrimp by using the microwave oven.;SOLUTION: The invention relates to the shrimp with head and shell for microwave oven cooking obtained by preparing the shrimp 2 with head and shell for heat cooking, covering, like wrapping, at least the body 2b of the shrimp 2 with a first coating material 3 to control change of water content in the body 2b, and then covering the body 2b of the shrimp covered with the first material 3 excluding the head part 2a with a second material 4 for adjusting the amount of the irradiated microwave to obtain the shrimp 1A for microwave oven cooking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
