PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a detecting yoke and the machining and positioning of a yoke surface and reduce the number of man-hours and costs.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring the magnetic attraction of a magnetic body is comprised of a contact part 2 of a predetermined length made of a non- magnetic material of which one end is to be in contact with the surface of a magnetic body M of which the magnetic attraction is to be measured, a first magnetic sensor 11 arranged close to the contact part 2 for detecting the intensity of the magnetic field of the magnetic body M, a second magnetic sensor 12 arranged at a location sufficiently separated from the contact part 2 in the same direction as the first magnetic sensor 11 for detecting the intensity of an ambient magnetic field such as geomagnetism at the location of a measuring part of the magnet body M, a differential arithmetic device 5 for outputting a signal corresponding to the intensity of the magnetic field of the magnet body M from the difference of output between the first magnetic sensor 11 and the second magnetic sensor 12, and a display device 7 for displaying the magnetic attraction of the magnet body M on the basis of the signal corresponding to the intensity of the magnetic field of the magnet body M outputted from the differential arithmetic device 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
