PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collective selection method for a plurality of elements superior in operability compared to 3D box setting which is set in order to collectively select a plurality of geometrical shape elements in a conventional CAD system when a part of a partial model having no feature information is a target of a solid editing command.;SOLUTION: A first plane is specified based on a plane element designated among the plurality of the geometrical shape elements to be collectively selected, and respective distances from the respective vertexes of the target partial model to the first plane are compared. Based on the comparison of the respective distances, a second plane parallel to the first plane is specified, and the geometrical shape elements existing in a space region between the first plane and the second plane are selected.
