PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately correct the mismatching of the attracting force of an electromagnet and a load resisting this attracting force due to unevenness of structural parts and characteristic by bending a movable iron piece so as to change the dimension of a clearance between the movable iron piece and a magnetic pole in the predetermined reference condition. ;SOLUTION: Only both ends of a movable iron piece 13 are required to be bent at a tip thereof. The movable iron piece 13 is pinched for fixation by a movable iron piece fixing jig 22 having an upper part 22a and a lower part 22b. In this condition, a hook 24 is hooked on a tip of the movable iron piece, and the force is applied upward or downward so as to bend a normally closed side iron piece end 13a or a normally open side iron piece end 13b in a desirable direction by a desirable worked variable. Degree of bending is always measured by a laser displacement meter 23.
