PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foliage part transported by conveyor belts from twining around tension pulleys, their supporting part, etc., and to improve an operation efficiency. ;SOLUTION: In this foliage part gripping conveyor which is installed from the front part of a traveling machine body to the rear slantingly upward to the rear, in which opposing parts of a pair of a right and left endless conveyor belts 44 are energized to approaching sides, during the advance of the machine body, a planting foliage part is gripped and transported slantingly upward to the rear by the right and left opposing parts and moved to the rear of the machine body in a state separated from its root part in the ground, tension pulleys 96 are laid inside positions close to the front of each conveyor belt 44. In the operation, the tension pulleys 96 push the nonopposing part sides of the conveyor belts 44 outward.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
