PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute matching not dependent only on speech recognition results and reduce index creating operations for a video or audio clip through which correspondence is sought. PSOLUTION: A multimedia data input device 11 accepts multimedia data. A speech recognition device 12 executes speech recognition of audio tracks. A speech recognition text structure analysis part 13 executes a structural analysis of speech recognition text. A related material input device 14 inputs related materials. A related material structure analysis part 15 executes a structural analysis of the related materials. A matching processing part 16 uses the structural analyses to match the speech recognition text and the related materials. A matching rule database 17 stores rules regulating matching combinations and procedures depending on inputs and structural analysis statues.
