PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urination assisting mechanism for a western toilet bowl, which is easily set on the existing western toilet bowl, sufficiently prevents spattering with extremely simple maintenance, and does not arouse discomfort of the user.;SOLUTION: The urination assisting tool 1 formed of first and second lower extremity bearers 2, 3 having elastic members 4 for bearing the left and right lower extremities, respectively; first/second expandable support sections 5, 6 for three-dimensionally bearing the first and second lower extremity bearers 2, 3 such that the first and second lower extremity bearers 2, 3 are symmetrically arranged thereon, that an interval between the lower extremity bearers is suitable for a width of a feet placing-side end of a western toilet bowl main body 21, and that a height thereof from a base stand 9 is suitable for the height of the body 21; a hydraulic section 8 for vertically expanding/contracting the sections 5, 6 to position the bearers 2, 3 to an arbitrary height; and the stand 9 on which the sections 5, 6 are mounted. Further, bearing stands 7 are interposed between the bearers 2, 3 and the section 5, 6, and first/second upper bearing surfaces 2a, 3a for bearing the lower extremities are inclined downward at a left/right-ward inclination (α) in mutually facing directions, and inclined at a front/rear-ward inclination in a longitudinal direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
