PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generating system receiving supply of purified hydrogen gas from a hypochlorite producing device. PSOLUTION: This fuel cell power generating system is equipped with the hypochlorite producing device 102 generating byproduct gas containing hydrogen gas as the main component inside an electrolytic bath 106 by an electrolytic process, a gas purifier 86 removing impurities from the byproduct gas sent from the hypochlorite producing device 102 and passing the hydrogen gas, and a fuel cell 104 generating electric power by electrochemical reaction of oxidizing agent gas 25 and the hydrogen gas sent from the gas purifier 86.
