PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of molding a porous plug which manufactures the porous plug advantageous for enhancing homogeneity in the axial length direction and exhibiting gas permeation performance, molding equipment for the porous plug and the porous plug.;SOLUTION: The porous plug 6 is molded by using the molding equipment 1 having a molding cavity 5 having a central axis P1 and a pressurizing body (upper die 3) for pressurizing the molding material in the molding cavity 5, housing the molding material in the molding cavity 5 of the molding equipment 1 and pressurizing the molding material in the molding cavity 5 in this state along the axial perpendicular direction to the central axis P1 of the molding cavity 5 by the pressurizing body (the upper die 3).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
