PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device that can be relieved without forcedly disconnecting a call during voice communication of a channel that is not affected by a fault when autonomously changing to preliminary processing since the fault affecting only the partial channel of VoIP processing occurs, and to provide a fault change method, a fault change program, and a recording medium in which the program is recorded.;SOLUTION: When the fault affecting only the partial channel occurs at a VoIP processor 2, the VoIP processor 2 is blocked in advance, the voice communication by a user is completed, and the entire call during the voice communication is completely disconnected before the autonomous change from the VoIP processor 2 to a preliminary VoIP processor 3 is made.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
