Equipment and capability evaluation method and automatic learning

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning device that enables a user to efficiently learn by himself or herself.;SOLUTION: Provided are a method and a device for automatic learning of a group of items by the user and ability evaluation. This device which can be replaced with a digital computer has one input means for receiving user's answers, a display means for presenting materials to be learnt, and logic means for classifying items. A method which can be implemented on the digital computer includes steps of questioning the user of whether the user already knows the items, classifying the items into perceptually known (44) and unknown (48) items, and generating a sequence (54) of items (58) to be displayed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
