PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a reaction of a polymer-immobilized silyl enol ether with an unsaturated ketone or an acetal in high yield. ;SOLUTION: An α,β-unsaturated ketone is subjected to the Michael type reaction using a scandium triflate as a catalyst or the unsaturated ketone is subjected to the aldol type reaction with an acetal using ytterbium triflate as a catalyst in a method for producing an organic compound using a polymer- immobilized silyl enol ether.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
