PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design assisting method for a slope reinforcement by using a reinforcing member capable of displaying an excellent design plan conformed to conditions by using a method for evaluating the stability of a ground reinforced by the reinforcement member such as an anchor, in which how much the effect of the inhibition force of the slope failure of the anchor or the like expected during the execution of works is or whether or not the effect is obtained while meeting an expectation can be decided during a jointly-using period and the place of the anchor or the like displaying the effect is determined by dispersing the various constants of the ground used for an analysis and using the probability of a failure together with a conventional safety factor in the evaluation of the safety of a slope, and a device for supporting a design.;SOLUTION: The method for supporting the design for the slope reinforcement by using the reinforcement member contains a ground various-constant obtaining step, when the ground various constants of the ground are obtained from a weight per a unit volume and the cohesion of a soil character on the slope to be excavated, a shearing resistance angle, a water level, a designed lateral seismic coefficient, a ground strength or the like, and a decision step, when a sliding surface having a minimum safety factor is decided from the shape of the slope to be excavated. The method further contains a reinforcement member information input step, when the reinforcing-member information of the reinforcement member installed on the sliding surface of the slope having the ground various constants is input, and a safety-factor calculating step, when the safety factor of the whole surface of a reinforcing slope comprising the reinforcement member is calculated regarding the slope, on which the reinforcement member is installed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
