PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain granules which can transpire medicines in high concentration without decreasing the volatilization rates of medicines even though the granules contain medicines in high concentration in the fumigant fumigated by a indirect heating method and to provide a method of fumigation. SOLUTION: In order to fumigate a medicine for fumigation, an organic foaming agent is mixed as a transpiration auxiliary with the medicine for fumigation. In the fumigant by indirectly heating the mixture, the organic foaming agent containing nitrocellulose is utilized as the transpiration auxiliary. It is preferable that azodicarboxamide is used as the organic foaming agent and permethrin is utilized as the medicine for fumigation. Fumigation is carried out by indirect heating due to the reaction heat between calcium oxide and water.
