PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of decomposition of a refrigerant even when a fluorocarbon refrigerant is used for a secondary refrigerant, by preventing abnormal superheating of the secondary refrigerant in a cooling operation. SOLUTION: This refrigerating equipment has a primary refrigerant circuit X through which a primary refrigerant circulates and which is constructed by connecting a regenerator 1, a vapor-liquid separator 4, a hot-heat heat exchanger 5 for obtaining a heating heat source, an air-cooled condenser 9, an evaporator 12 for obtaining a cooling heat source and an air-cooled absorber 15 sequentially and a secondary refrigerant circuit Y through which a secondary refrigerant (y) circulates and which is constructed by connecting the hot-heat heat exchanger 5, a use-side heat exchanger 17 and the evaporator 12 sequentially. In this case, a fluorocarbon refrigerant is adopted as the secondary refrigerant (y) and also an on-off valve 25 stopping supply of primary refrigerant vapor (a) to the hot-heat heat exchanger 5 in a cooling operation is attached. In the cooling operation, the supply of the primary refrigerant vapor (a) of high temperature to a primary refrigerant passage in the hot-heat heat exchanger 5 is stopped by a closing operation of the on-off valve 25 and the secondary refrigerant (y) is prevented from being exposed to the high temperature in the hot-heat heat exchanger 5.
