PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cooling pipe and a heat exchanger made of copper material corrosion-resistant by forming a film of cupric oxide on the surface, which contacts with water, of a heat conductive pipe. ;SOLUTION: When cleaning the oxide adhering to the water contact part of a stator coil, nitrogen is supplied by a nitrogen cylinder 22 in place of an air cylinder 20. Work of processing a corrosion-preventive film is performed after cleaning off the oxides adhering to the stator coil water contact part of a turbine generator in operation, with water where inert gas such as nitrogen is blown in, using this device. At the water contact surface of the stator coil after execution of this work, cupric oxides are made. This way, for the stator coil where dark blown cupric oxides are made this way, corrosion does not make progress during operation of a generator, and the discharge of corrosive products is suppressed, so the performance of the turbine generator can be maintained, and a highly reliable turbine generator can be provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
