PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal thatching structure having high mounting strength of a connection part of a horizontal thatching members arranged at the downstream and upstream sides and having excellent negative pressure resistance even if the horizontal thatching member is lifted when negative pressure acts and to provide its construction method and the horizontal thatching member.;SOLUTION: This horizontal thatching structure is constituted to construct the horizontal thatching member 1 having a downstream formed part 3 and an upstream formed part 4 engageable with the downstream and upstream sides of a face plate part 2 alternately using a holding member 5. The horizontal thatching member 1 has an extension piece 43 on the downstream side of a held part 42 held by the holding member 5 in the upstream formed part 4. The downstream formed part 3 is provided with a pressed piece 32 positioned on a rear surface side of the extension piece 43 in the mounted state. The holding member 5 has a negative pressure suppressing piece 54 facing the extension piece 43 in the mounted state in the downstream side of a holding part 51 holding the held part 42. When the horizontal thatching member 1 is lifted in action of negative pressure, the negative suppressing piece 54 of the holding member 5 presses the pressed piece 32, through the extension piece 43.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
