PURPOSE: To transfer a fertility-recovering gene to a Brassica plant by protoplast fusion between a Brassica plant and a Raphanus plant having a fertility- recovering gene corresponding to cytoplasmic male sterility. ;CONSTITUTION: Protoplast fusion is carried out between a Brassica plant such as rapeseed and a Raphanus plant (Japanese radish, etc.) having a fertility- recovering gene corresponding to cytoplasmic male sterility.
