PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spawn piece feeder, taking out the spawn pieces from a tray with which the spawn pieces are marketed, automatizing works for supplying them to a place where the pieces are required, aligning them in an accurate direction and feeding. PSOLUTION: This spawn piece feeder is equipped with a setting part 8 for supporting the spawn piece-housing tray housing the approximately truncated cone-shaped spawn pieces horizontally so as to position the larger diameter part of the spawn pieces at lower side, a spawn piece-taking out means 9 for falling a prescribed spawn piece from the housing tray, a first spawn piece-holding means 11 and a second spawn piece-holding means 12 for holding the fallen spawn pieces, a spawn piece-moving means 13 for moving the pieces held by both the holding means 11, 12 to a required position one by one, a going passage and returning passage for guiding the first holding means 11 or second holding means 12 from the directly beneath position of the taking out means 9 to the position of the moving means 13, and a circulation-moving means 16 for circulation-moving both holding means 11, 12 so that, when one of the holding means 11 is arranged at the going passage, another holding means 12 is arranged at the returning passage.
