A system of adjusting the temperature set point of a cooling system and measuring the temperature of an environment, a temperature sensing assembly (1) for monitoring, a method of measuring and adjusting the temperature set point are described. The adjustment of the temperature set point of the environment (Ts) is effected from the displacement of the interaction element (3) at the set of turns (2), this adjustment of set point being monitored by the processing unit (20) from the alteration of the variable inductance (Lx) of the set of turns (2).
