They provide isolated nucleic acids and polypeptides associated with the Regulation of the Metabolism of Lipids and Sugars. In particular, it provides Proteins of Lipid Metabolism and Nucleic Acids encoding (PML) from Arabidopsis thaliana.The nucleic acids and polypeptides are used in Methods of producing transgenic plants and modulate the levels of compounds in the Seeds in a Tank floor. Preferably, the compounds of the seeds are deposited in Lipids, Fatty Acids, Starch or Protein deposit in Seeds.
