The method involves injecting high pressure water droplets into a burnt gas at an output of a combustion chamber using injectors such that waste heat in the burnt gas transforms the water droplets into water vapor. The water vapor and the burnt gas are mixed by a mixer to form a homogeneous burnt gas-vapor mixture with high speed and density at an input of a high pressure steam turbine via the output of the chamber, where the mixture drives a low pressure steam turbine and the high pressure steam turbine.
