On line composition of a newspaper advertisement is as stipulated by customer who takes the initiative in relation to the receipt of advertisement data. The user can determine him or her self which advertisement information he or she can receive within a time period specified by them. Advertisement information coming from publicity producers to be submitted for decision by users of the invention. Advertisement information is registered and filed, each item of which contains a photograph, a price, a validity period, an entity who offers the advertisement product and his or her address, all of which is stored in a data base. A category hierarchy is defined for advertisement information. A structure is formed for categories and sub-categories and each item of advertisement information is associated with a specific category. A result is generated in the form of an advertisement brochure for consultation. The generated advertisement brochure can be downloaded on various media, such as a personal computer, an application program interface or a global mobile system.
