The method involves providing loose fibers (1), each with a base end (2) and a tip (3), all oriented in same direction. Fiber bundles (4), obtained from the fibers, are pushed into the openings (5) of a support (6) by applying forces on the fiber base ends. The bundles are further pushed from the support into the openings of a holder (7) in the same manner as such that the bundles partly protrude from the holder. The base ends are connected to each other to a brush body (10), after which the holder is removed.
