"HYDROPHILIC SURFACE COATED WITH A TENSIVE COMPOSITION, COATING APPLIED ON A NON-POROUS SUBSTRATE, MICROFLUID DEVICE, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING A HYDROPHYTIC SURFACE" ON A SUBSTRATE. Hydrophilic surfactant compositions are described which include a surfactant component and a stabilizing component. The surfactant may be coated on a surface by depositing a surfactant on at least a portion of the surface, then drying the surfactant to form the dry coating. Surfactant compositions, when applied to a substrate, may provide a hydrophilic surface that retains its hydrophilic character over time at elevated temperatures.
