"PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BIODIESEL FROM RENEWABLE OIL IN THE PRESENCE OF LIPASE CATALYSIS IN AN ORGANIC REACTION SYSTEM". The present invention provides a novel process for the production of biodiesel from renewable oil in the presence of lipase catalysis in an organic reaction system. In this process, a short-chain alcohol ROH is used as an acyl receptor, a relatively hydrophilic organic solvent having no negative effect on lipase reactivity, and a renewable oil feedstock being catalyzed by a lipase to synthesize as a reaction medium. biodiesel through a transesterification reaction. In the process of the present invention, the renewable oil feedstock can be almost completely converted into biodiesel and a glycerine byproduct, and biodiesel production is 94% or more. This new type of reaction system in organic media promotes the solubility of short chain alcohol in the renewable oil feedstock and dissolves part of the glycerine byproduct. As a result, reaction time is reduced, biodiesel productivity is increased and lipase reactivity and lifetime are improved in the process of the present invention.
