"TIPPING AND / OR PROVISION OF ADVERTISING DIRECTION CRITERIA". Category-aware (and field-proven) keyword suggestions can be used to help advertisers better target their ads, and may reduce unused ad position inventory. The advertiser may enter ad information, such as creative, landing page, other keywords, etc., for example. A keyword resource may use this inbound ad information as seed information to infer one or more categories. They may then ask the advertiser to comply with or deny some basic feedback information (eg categories, webpage information, etc.). For example, the advertiser may be provided with candidate categories and may be asked to confirm (for example, using tick boxes) which of the categories are relevant to their ad. Keywords can be determined using at least the categories. The given keywords may be provided to the advertiser as suggested keywords, or may automatically populate restriction information from serving the ad as targeting keywords. The ad server system may process an experiment on keywords determined to qualify or disqualify them as targeting keywords.
