MOLDING CASTING BOX FOR A MOLDING MACHINE AND MOLDING PROCESS USING THE MOLDING CASTING BOX A molding box for holding sand in it prevents any mold shifting or mold drop. Each of an upper casting box 2 and a lower casting box 3 includes a body defining an opening into which a sand mold is to be molded. The carpus has at least one inlet 101 for introducing mold sand into the opening. Two flanges 102 are extended from the body so that they are opposed to each other through the opening. Each flange has a through hole. The casting box also includes locking means for engaging an actuator outside the casting box so that a force or forces of said actuator can be transmitted to the casting box. An upper casting case 104 and a lower casting case 105 are opposite each other via a template plate 107. They are integrally mounted for making a casting box unit by means of a pair of connecting rods 106 which fit into each hole.
