GASOLINE SULFUR REDUCTION CATALYST FOR FLUID CATALYTIC CRACKING PROCESS The present invention relates to certain catalytic compositions and processes which are capable of reducing sulfur compounds commonly found as part of gasoline fraction streams from fluid catalytic cracking processes. The present invention is a cracking catalytic composition comprising a zeolite in combination with a Lewis acid containing component, wherein the cracking catalytic composition comprises 0.2% Na 2 O or less. It has been found that sulfur compounds in hydrocarbon feedstocks for fluid catalytic cracking processes can be reduced by at least 15% compared to the same composition which does not comprise the Lewis acid content component mentioned above.
