In the present invention, there is described a herbicidal agent containing: A) at least one compound selected from the group comprising substituted phenylsulfonyl ureas of the general formula I and agriculturally acceptable salts thereof, in combination with other herbicidally active substances being selected from the group of compounds consisting of: Ba) herbicides which are selectively active against grasses in cereals; Bb) herbicides which are selectively active against dicotyledonous plants in cereals; Bc) herbicides which are selectively active against grasses and dicotyledonous plants in cereals; and Bd) herbicides which are non-selectively active on uncultivated land or in permanent cultivation (plantations) and/or are selectively active against unwanted grasses and weeds in transgenic cultivation.
