The connection has a connector (12) with a connection section having a terminal end (32), and two rows of pockets formed in the connection section. A tubing section is positioned over the connection section of the connector, and two rows of dimples (34, 35) are positioned within the respective one of the rows of pockets, where the row of dimples (34) provides a snug fit, and row of dimples (35) introduces a small amount of slop with respect to the respective pockets. An independent claim is also included for connecting coiled tubing to a connector.
