The present invention relates to a method for producing SSZ-32 zeolite with small crystals, known as SSZ-32X. The catalyst is suitable for use in a process in which feed containing straight or slightly branched paraffins having 10 or more carbon atoms is dewaxed to produce an isomerized product with an increased yield of isomerized material and reduced production of light fractions.
